EXISTING USER UPGRADES TO DEBTIME SQL

The Bradford office of Hammonds Suddards Edge, the international firm of solicitors, has placed an order with Linetime Limited for equipment valued at in excess of £15,000 for the DebtimeSQL software and hardware.
A debt recovery department was established in Bradford in 1987 to provide a service to major plc's, large lenders as well as smaller firms and individuals. Hammonds Suddards Edge commissioned Linetime's original Debtime software four years ago in its consumer and commercial recovery department and this currently serves approximately 35 users, all of whom are able to exchange information with each other.
All aspects of arrears collections have recently been brought in under one roof to the Bradford office and it was decided that a "seamless service" was required to fulfil the needs of all clients and enable information to be accessed by all departments within the Hammonds Suddards Edge Debt Management Unit. Debtime SQL provided the best product at the best price and will service 70 users.

The hardware consists of clustered servers, one of which provides a fail-over and a shared mirrored disk array. If a server should fail the information has already been duplicated onto the second server resulting in minimum down-time.
