In an ideal world case workers would simply turn up for work, log in at their workstation and progress through their allocated daily tasks in a controlled and logical manner, with priorities governed by the scheduling capability of their case management system.
However, as we all know, life is never that simple and busy case workers have to cope with interruptions, from a variety of sources, throughout their working day.
The Interruption Management capability within Liberate SE allows users to have any number cases open at the same time, each with their own independent WP session. As a result there is no need to close down current case activity when the phone rings – the user simply opens another session. A list of all open cases is held at ‘command level, within the system, allowing users to move between cases at one click.
