• One out of twenty documents are lost
• Finding a document costs £10 in labour charges
• Misfiling can cost £60 per document
• Up to 19 copies are made of each document
• Recreating lost documents can take over 25 hours
It follows therefore that improving the document creation, lifetime management and archiving processes can significantly increase efficiency, enhance customer service and boost bottom line profitability.

The Liberate Case & Matter Management systems have a central document repository containing all documents created within the system. The system handles initial storage of generated documents and access to the document store is controlled via a series of user permissions and passwords. Full version control is also a feature of the Liberate systems.
The concept of a shared document store accessible by all (authorized) users ensures that the correct (current) version of a document is accessed when required. The need to create multiple copies of a document is eliminated. If a client loses a document then it can be easily recreated (subject to user permission level).
The Linetime ImageRouter.NET product provides a further level of document handling capability, controlling the safe and secure distribution of scanned documents throughout the entire organization. Scanned documents can be attached directly to a case, forwarded to a department or to an individual user. As scanned images are attached directly to the central case history the need for each user to have their own copy is removed, eliminating duplication and the risk of error.
The ImageRouter.NET product also provides the core functionality for Linetime Archiving solutions, where complete case histories (documents, file notes, e-mails, scanned images, voice & video files) can be output to a compound file on (.PDF format) for off-line storage. These (searchable) files can be output to a variety of media – tape, CD, optical disc etc. Saves paper, office space and money!
