An article in this month’s excellent publication Credit Collections & Risk written by Dr. Michael Turton of Cavendish Consultants describes how firms can improve customer service and ultimately cash flow by simply improving the look (and feel) of their fee invoices.

Michael discussed how not long ago the IT strategy of a company with regards to its billing totally ignored its appearance or even its use of English. Nowhere in this strategy did it say that the bill should increase revenue or decrease costs improve customer loyalty or provide a document that makes sense.
